Nora McInerny's TED talk on grief was the first time I saw someone use humor while discussing grief. She is a speaker, author, and podcast host who shares about her lived experience of miscarrying, being widowed, and losing a parent to cancer all in one year. She talks about balancing motherhood with professional demands of her career.
I have upgraded to her paid Substack account which includes her live office hours which is just her on a live video getting tasks done, and for some reason it helps me also get things done!
Ara Elizabeth's art monthly postcard club
I am fortunate to call Ara my colleague and a friend. She is a remarkable artist that deserves your attention, so follow her on social media (the journey of her mural at Red Balloon Bookshop is truly remarkable!)
Ara does a monthly postcard club, so for $5 a month, you get a postcard of her art send directly to your home. With the hustle of life and blandness of opening mail, this club has brought joy to me and the kids each other!
